Davao Aguilas UMak FC continued their title aspirations in a 3-1 win over Tuloy FC in Sunday’s Philippines Football League at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Yusuke Unoki grabbed a brace for Davao, who sit in fourth place in the standings with only three matches left in the season.

Unoki opened the scoring from inside the box from a pass from Uriel Dalapo.

Tuloy FC responded in the 16th minute when Cyrelle Saut curled the ball in to the back of the net to the surprise of Dini Ouattara.

Davao regained the lead in the 25th minute from Unoki once again. The Japanese forward found the top right corner after a cross from Kart Talaroc.

Tuloy showed resilience in the match as they came close in forcing another equalizer, but were unable to convert their chances.

Ibrahima Ndour sealed the victory for Davao with a stoppage time strike to propel Davao to victory.
