DB Garelli United FC finally broke into the top 10 in the standings after a 1-0 win over Philippine Air Force in Sunday’s Philippines Football League at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Jangobah Johnson scored on the stroke of half-time as Garelli displaced Mendiola FC 1991 in tenth place.

Johnson broke free on the right side of the box before sending a lofted effort past Jose Abraham and into the top corner.

Jules Koumoiin also had several chances on goal for Garelli, but was unable to hit the target.

Angelo Obero almost equalized for Air Force in the 81st minute, but his shot went wide as Garelli held on for the three points.
