Stallion Laguna FC notched back-to-back wins after besting Tuloy FC, 7-1, in Sunday’s Philippines Football League at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Finn McDaniel and Angelo Marasigan both collected a brace as Stallion sit in third with 26 points after 11 matches. Meanwhile, Tuloy are in 13th place with only six points.

Marasigan opened the scoring in the ninth minute. Jose Dourado latched in a through ball to the path of the midfielder, who sent his shot towards the bottom corner.

Fresh from his national team stint, McDaniel soon joined in to the goalfest from the penalty spot in the 18th minute after Juan Galeana Trujillo was brought down inside the box.

Tuloy had a lifeline on the stroke of half-time as Cyrelle Saut finished off Jhon Diaz’ cut back after breaching the Stallion backline.

However Marasigan restored Stallion’s two-goal cushion as Marasigan was there to rebound the ball after Abraham Placito’s initial effort was parried away by Michael Anito, Jr.

Dourado added his name in the scoresheet four minutes in to the second half after a neat pass by Trujillo which McDaniel dummied for the forward to score.

Silva made it 5-1 in the 59th minute from a header off a corner before McDaniel fired his second in the 85th minute, and substitute Junior Sam completed the rout in the third minute of stoppage time.
