Cebu FC hosts One Taguig FC in its first home match in the Philippines Football League at the Dynamic Herb Sports Complex in Talisay, Cebu on Sunday.

Kickoff is at 4 p.m. as the Gentle Giants hope to bounce back from their 0-1 loss to Manila Digger FC last October 20 at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium.

Both Cebu and One Taguig were supposed to face-off last October 27 but was postponed due to Tropical Storm “Kristine”.

While both teams have identical 2-0-1 win-draw-loss records, Cebu is in second place with a +9 goal difference.

Apart from the home advantage and longer break, the Gentle Giants will march into pitch oozing with confidence after forcing a 2-2 draw against Muangthong United FC last October 23 in their AFC Champions League Two match in Thailand.

Rintaro Hama will be one of Cebu’s scoring options after scoring a header against Muangthong United that forced a draw.

As for One Taguig, the club will lean on team captain Amiel Amita and Oliver Bias after scoring in their 2-1 win over Davao Aguilas-UMak FC last October 20.
