Roberto Corsame struck late as Dynamic Herb Cebu FC claimed another crucial win this time over United City FC, 2-1, to stay within striking distance of the leaders.
The win kept Cebu unbeaten at the Dynamic Herb Stadium, and remained just a point behind leaders Stallion Laguna and Davao Aguilas UMak with 18 points.
Daniel Gadia sent the Cebu crowd into frenzy with the opening goal in the 28th minute. Abou Sy linked up with Chima Uzoka, who set up Gadia from just the edge of the area, firing past Henri Bandeken Fong.
Mark Hartmann answered back six minutes in to the second half, firing a long range rocket for the equalizer.
Cebu regained the lead in the 74th minute as Rintaro Hama squared the ball for Abou Sy, who then fed it to the rushing Corsame for the winning goal.
