Following a short stint with Kaya FC-Iloilo, Jarvey Gayoso makes his return to the Azkals Development Team for the Philippines Football League brought to you by Qatar Airways 2021 season.
“It was a short, but memorable time! Best of luck on your return to the Azkals Development Team,” said Kaya in a brief statement released this morning.
Gayoso returns to ADT with a lot of promise after featuring for Kaya in the club’s recently concluded AFC Champions League run where they qualified from the play-off round and competed in the group stage against some of the continent’s elite clubs.
“It was a great experience playing with such talented athletes in Kaya,” said Gayoso. “The AFC Champions League campaign was a great experience for me as it helped me grow as an athlete, and as I return to ADT, I hope that I can continue to play my role to the best of my abilities to show that we can compete at a higher level.”
ADT coach Scott Cooper expects that Gayoso’s return will bid well for the team this coming PFL season.
“It was a valuable experience for Jarvey to play in the (AFC) Champions League and it’s good that Kaya gave him the opportunity to learn a lot,” said Cooper. “We look forward in seeing him back with the ADT and we look forward to see his development this coming season.”
