Reigning PFL champions Kaya FC-Iloilo followed up their huge win last week with another blowout victory in a 10-1 thrashing of Maharlika Taguig FC in Sunday’s third match at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

The win propelled Kaya in second place just behind of league leaders Stallion Laguna FC on goal difference. Meanwhile, Maharlika are in 10th place brought on by back-to-back losses.

Japanese midfielder Shuto Komaki led Kaya with a hat-trick in the 21st, 41st, and 45th minutes, while Jarvey Gayoso, who scored jn the fifth and 45th minutes, as well as Jesus Melliza (18’, 47’) combined for four goals.

Defender Marco Casambre (55’), Audie Menzi (58’), and Eric Esso (76’) added a goal apiece, with Maharlika’s Lukas Del Rosario scoring the solitary goal in the 19th minute.
