Maharlika Taguig FC ended their losing slump after they saw five different goal scorers in their 5-0 rout of struggling Manila Montet FC last Sunday at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
The result saw Maharlika move to ninth place ahead of Mendiola, while Montet collected its ninth straight loss of the season.
Maharlika took the lead in the fifth minute of the match from Victor Nkoa after a defensive lapse by Montet.
Crisitan Jamon made it 2-0 with a header from Raymond Abo before Junior Mailly added a third in the 36th minute to put Maharlika up by three goals at the half.
Gael Basana and Lucas Del Rosario completed the rout with goals in the 58th and 85th minutes.
