Brothers Jed and Jan Delariarte led the charge as Philippine Air Force FC crushed Manila Montet FC, 8-0, in Saturday’s finale at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Air Force remained in 14th place, tied on points with Tuloy FC but behind on goal difference. Meanwhile, Manila Montet FC remains anchored at the bottom of the table with zero points.

The Airmen took flight early when Jed Delariarte opened the scoring with a smooth lob over the Montet goalkeeper in the seventh minute. Four minutes later, brother Jan threaded an incisive pass to Jed, who tapped it in to double the lead.

Angelo Obero continued Air Force’s assult with the third goal in the 13th minute

Montet had a rare chance to score in the 25th minute when Reggie Sulit fired on target, but Air Force goalkeeper Jose Zaldy Abraham was up to the task.

Jan Delariarte, extended Air Force’s lead in the 37th minute to go to the half with a 4-0 advantage.

It was Air Force all the way in the second half. Eric Mauring, headed home the fifth goal in the 63rd minute, before Obero found the back of the net once again in the 68th minute.

Jed Delariarte completed his hat-trick in the 74th minute, before brother Jan completed the rout in the 80th minute.
