John Celiz and Jimuel Ariola combined for four goals as Philippine Army FC added to Manila Montet’s woes after a 5-0 win last Wednesday at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
The win saw Army move up to 12th place with four points, while Montet remained winless in last place.
Joshua Gatinato put Army ahead in the 20th minute with a clean strike past Mark Jones.
Celiz doubled the lead in the 35th minute with a long ranged effort that was spilled by Jones towards his own net as Army held a 2-0 lead at the half.
Ariola made it 3-0 at the start of the second half with a strike towards the near post before Celiz completed his brace in the 64th minute with a shot towards the top corner.
Ariola rounded things up with Army’s fifth 14 minutes from time.
