Stallion Laguna FC moved back in to third place in the Philippines Football League brought to you by Qatar Airways standings after a 2-0 win over Mendiola FC 1991 last Sunday 14 May 2023 at the Biñan Football Stadium.
Goals from Abraham Placito and Alen Angeles on either side of the half lifted Ernie Nierras side past Azkals Development Team with 25 points.
Placito struck first in the 37th minute with a header from Finn McDaniel’s corner kick.
Angeles sealed the match 11 minutes in to the second half with a neat finish off Kouichi Belgira’s cutback.
