Juan Galeana-Trujillo fired four goals to lead Stallion Laguna FC in their 8-0 trouncing of Philippine Air Force FC in Saturday evening’s Philippines Football League match at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
The Laguna side picked up the three points to leapfrog leaders Kaya FC-Iloilo for provisional lead with 24 points.
Stephen Halm started Stallion’s march in the 15th minute, heading in Trujillo’s free kick.
Stallion would have to wait until the 51st minute to double their tally as Trujillo guided home a cross from Theo De Moraes. The Mexican added a second a minute later, before completing his hat-trick off another pass from Moraes in the 65th minute.
Trujillo completed his four-goal haul in the 68th minute with a low effort from Magson Dourado’s pass.
Dourado who was causing problems with his pace added Stallion’s sixth in the 81st minute before De Moraes added a seventh goal three minutes from time.
There was time for Argentine midfielder Cristian Ivanobski to join in the scoring as he rifled in a low effort for the eighth goal of Stallion.
