Hamed Hajimahdi hurled in three goals as Mendiola FC 1991 edged Tuloy FC, 4-2 in Saturday’s PFL action at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Mendiola FC 1991 leapfrogged Don Bosco Garelli United FC in 10th place with 10 points, while Tuloy remained in 13th place.

Tuloy FC started strongly with Syron Saut breaking the deadlock seven minutes in to the first half. The midfielder scored from inside the box, off an assist from John Rocky Grizola.

Mendiola quickly responded in the 15th minute when Seyedsajad Mohebizadeh headed in the equalizer from a long ball delivered by Paul Mapula.

Tuloy FC retook the lead in the 35th minute. John Loyd Jalique sent his effort on goal after a through ball from Harry Nunez.

However, the second half saw Hajimahdi lead Mendiola to a comeback. The Iranian struck home a penalty in the 56th minute to level the score once again.

Hajimahdi netted his second in the 64th minute, capitalizing on a poor clearance, before putting the match beyond doubt with a stunning free kick in stoppage time to complete his hat-trick.
