Ricki Sendra bagged a brace as he led United City FC to a thrashing 6-0 win over Loyola FC in Sunday’s PFL fixture at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
United City showcased a dominant performance against Loyola that propelled them from sixth to fourth in the league standings with 24 points, overtaking One Taguig FC and tying Davao Aguilas FC on 26 points, but leading on goal difference while Loyola remained in eighth place with 16 points.
Ariel Nguekam put United City ahead in the ninth minute off a pass from Sendra, before the Argentinian doubled the advantage in the 12th minute from Zachary Taningco’s pass.
Sendra doubled his tally six minutes from halftime, heading in Troy Limbo’s cross.
Paolo Bugas joined in the scoresheet in the 63rd minute, before turning provider to Mark Hartmann’s strike in the 65th minute.
Limbo completed the result with United City’s sixth goal in the 68th minute.
